Masra – the first Georgian wrapping paper made from natural hemp reed.

The world’s first paper was partially made from hemp. In general, hemp is more suitable for paper production because:

• Compared to paper made from wood, it has high cellulose and low lignin content.
• Over time, its leaves do not change color (do not turn yellow).
• Hemp paper is also much more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
• Its production is much faster.
