• Air circulation – a stable environment for the plant: When the air does not move, the leaves are surrounded by a humid microclimate, which contributes to the spread of bacteria and mold. Proper air circulation eliminates these risks and increases the vital energy of the plant.
• Humidity and temperature control: In a closed space, light sources emit heat, which causes excessive temperature build-up. Fans can help reduce the temperature, ensure a constant humidity balance, and prevent overheating and stress for the plants.
• CO₂ supply and oxygen renewal: Plants need to breathe through their leaves. Without a supply of carbon dioxide (CO₂), they cannot fully photosynthesize in a closed environment. Ventilation processes the air and the plant is always supplied with fresh CO₂.
