HYDRO ROOTS is a root strengthening supplement containing phosphorus and boron. Both of these different ingredients have their own specific function. The combination of components ensures increased nutrient absorption. Carefully selected mineral elements have a direct and positive effect on the root system of your plant.

HYDRO ROOTS promotes root formation and growth. It increases root branches (secondary roots) and thickens the root hairs. Therefore, HYDRO ROOTS improves root architecture. A well-developed root system improves the growth of your plants by increasing nutrient and water uptake.

Phosphorus

Phosphorus plays a crucial role in root development. It is essential for the synthesis of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA), which are essential for cell division and the development of new tissues, including roots. Phosphorus promotes the growth and proliferation of root cells, which contributes to the formation of a strong and extensive root system.

It is a major component of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the primary energy carrier in cells, and is critically important for energy-dependent processes, including nutrient uptake and transport systems, that support root development and function.

Phosphorus also plays an important role in signaling pathways and regulatory mechanisms that regulate root architecture, influence root responses to environmental conditions and stresses, and enhance the plant’s ability to adapt to its environment.

Boron

The importance of boron can be understood through its involvement in various physiological processes and its influence on cell wall structure and function.

It is crucial for the formation and strength of cell walls, due to its role in the cross-linking of pectin polysaccharides, which are essential components of plant cell walls. This cross-linking helps maintain cell wall integrity, ensuring proper cell expansion and maturation, which is especially important in growing root tips, where cells are rapidly dividing and elongating.
