Calcium and Magnesium (Ca/Mg) deficiency is a well-known problem in reverse osmosis (RO) water and soft water. CALMAG PRO provides a balanced concentration of minerals in the water. This is the ideal basis for creating nutrient water. CALMAG PRO is mainly used in combination with RO water and soft water.

CALMAG PRO contains an optimal ratio of calcium and magnesium to avoid competition between the two nutrients. Some magnesium and calcium fertilizers are not mixed due to sulfates, but CALMAG PRO contains both elements in an ideal ratio.

Calcium and magnesium are extremely important secondary macronutrients. In soft water areas, levels of these essential nutrients are low, so in some cases it is important to supplement them and CALMAG PRO is ideal for this purpose. CALMAG is also useful for growers with reverse osmosis units and for treating deficiencies.

Calcium

Calcium is especially important during the vegetative growth stages. Like silicon, it helps strengthen cell walls, which promotes vigorous growth and stronger structures. Calcium is vital for the transport of nutrients within the plant.

Magnesium

The magnesium molecule is a vital component in the formation of the chlorophyll molecule. Chlorophyll is responsible for giving plants their green color and is used in the process of photosynthesis, where plants capture energy from growing light and use it to break down CO2 into carbon and oxygen. The carbon is then used by the plant, and the oxygen is released as a waste product.

CALMAG PRO – application

• Shake well before use.
• Add a maximum of 1 ml. Calmag Pro per liter of water (1:1,000).
• Use this solution with every watering.

CALMAG PRO is often used to increase the initial EC of reverse osmosis water and soft water. If you are experiencing this problem, continue adding CALMAG PRO until you reach the desired initial EC (usually around 0.3 or 0.4).
