Terra Aquatica pH Down is used to reduce the pH value of “hard” water, as most plants require optimal acidity for nutrient uptake.<\/p>\n
However, tap water in many countries is often unstable in this regard. In most cases, the water is too “hard” (high pH mark, a lot of limescale is formed), which requires manual lowering of the pH value (the water is “acidified”).<\/p>\n
In addition to simple acids, this pH Down also contains a mixture of organic buffer substances, which means that the pH is maintained in the long term and the calcium content is reduced.<\/p>\n
