A CO2 bag is a very small and easy to use that produces carbon dioxide for your plants. It can accelerate plant growth and ripen fruits faster, improving taste, color and yield.

Use the CO2 bag 2-3 weeks after planting the seeds. Make 6 holes in the bag and hang it above the plants. A CO2 bag only produces carbon dioxide at temperatures above 18 ºC (64 ºF). Store the sealed bag in a dry and cool place at a temperature of 18 ºC (64 ºF).

When the CO2 bag comes into contact with oxygen, it will begin to produce carbon dioxide. However, it may take a few days before production begins. Depending on the air circulation in the grow room, one CO2 bag will produce enough CO2 to cover a 5 m2 (50 ft2) area for 1-3 months.

With the extra carbon dioxide, your plants can withstand temperatures 3-5 ºC (5-9 ºF) higher than normal. It also results in a need for more water and nutrients. Remember to increase the amount of water, nutrients and light in the room to maximize the effect of the CO2 bag.

Like oxygen for us, carbon dioxide is one of the most important components of plant growth. All plants need carbon dioxide to grow. If a plant cannot get enough carbon dioxide from the air, it will grow more slowly. A CO2 bag is the best and easiest way to add more carbon dioxide to your grow tent without spending too much.
