CO2 Bag
The Exhale CO2 bag processes carbon dioxide for 24 hours without refilling bottles or using expensive production units. Technically free: no heat, no electricity, only CO2.
CO2 bags work through photosynthesis – Photosynthesis is the process by which plant leaves make carbohydrates.
How it works:
Plants grown indoors under artificial lighting often lack sufficient CO2 for efficient photosynthesis. When plants are able to maximize their photosynthesis process, you get bigger plants with greater yields.
The power lies in the mycelial mass inside the ventilated box. This mycelium mass processes carbon dioxide and the one-way exhalation patch releases CO2 continuously for up to 6 months.
A regular size Exhale CO2 bag is designed for small to medium grow spaces, specifically 1 bag will provide 4-6 plants with the CO2 they need. It can be used both for the growth of barren plants and for the production of fruits and flowers.
How to use:
The separation seam also acts as a hanger. When you remove it, allow the material in the top bag to fall onto the sterilized substrate below.
Reattach the split stitch hanger by placing it over the filter pad. A CO2 releasing bag can be placed in your garden. Use the grommet to hang the CO2 release bag slightly above your plants.
Full production is achieved in 30-45 days. ExHale 365 produces CO2 for 9 months.
Each bag is designed for a purpose and each function has a purpose. We designed and improved our bags:
- BREATHER PATCH – bag exhaust port. The microporous breathing patch allows CO2 to escape from the bag and also keeps contaminants out.
- DURABLE PLASTIC – ExHale uses durable plastic to withstand punctures and subsequent contamination.
- SUBSTRATE – ExHale’s substrate is a proprietary formula designed to be a long-term food source for CO2-producing mycelium.
- MYCELIUM – ExHale’s mycelium is a patented strain of non-fruiting, high CO2 producing fungi that love to bring nature back into indoor gardens.
Instructions for use:
• Place the Exhale CO2 bag in a space slightly above the height of the plants. Carbon dioxide, which is heavier than air, will flow down to the plants.
• You will notice a change in the appearance of the mycelium mass. Over time, it will take on a whitish appearance, which is normal. CO2 production will last up to 6 months.
• Depending on the conditions, the bag may inflate, but this is not an indication of performance. If the mycelium grows, CO2 flows.
• The bag is 100% recyclable. Simply scoop out the contents and mix into the compost pile or use as a soil amendment. The bag can be recycled through your local plastic recycling facility.
