CANNA CALMAG AGENT works on water hardness and provides the right amount of calcium and magnesium, specially formulated to protect and maintain nutrient quality during storage in the reservoir. Our CALMAG improves water quality and prevents nutrient deficiencies so your plants grow healthy and get all the nutrients they need.

Water is divided into four types:
1.) Soft water, 2.) Normal water, 3.) Hard water, and 4.) Bad water

What is the difference between soft/hard and/or bad water and what can you do?

• Soft water has an EC level below 0.4. With CANNA CALMAG AGENT you can increase your EC level up to 0.4.
• Normal water has an EC level of 0.4 to 0.5. It contains calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate to stabilize the pH. CANNA TERRA and COCO base nutrients are designed to work best with this type of water.
• Hard water (EC>0.5) contains more calcium and magnesium than the plant can absorb. When you grow plants, the best way to treat this type of water is to use a reverse osmosis filter and then mix your hard water with R.O. in water until you reach an EC level of 0.4.
• Bad water (EC>0.5) mainly contains sodium and chloride. These two elements can block the absorption of beneficial nutrients and become toxic to your plants. With a reverse osmosis (R.O.) filter, you can remove both elements. Simply bringing a mixture of bad water and R.O water to an E.C of 0.4 will result in adequate bicarbonates to stabilize pH levels, but calcium and magnesium levels will be too low. Mix R.O and tap water until you reach E.C 0.2 and then add CANNA CALMAG AGENT until you reach E.C 0.4.

CANNA CALMAG AGENT is a special concentrate for soft water buffer. It can be used on all substrates.

Instructions for use:

• Shake well before use.
• Fill the nutrient reservoir with water (20-22°C).
• Add 0.1-0.5 ml. 1 liter of CANNA CALMAG AGENT until you reach an EC of 0.4 mS/cm. Along with this water, you use the usual recommended nutrients and supplements.

Storage instructions:

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Keep the package tightly sealed.
• Store only in original packaging.
• Protect from heat, frost and direct sunlight.
• The recommended storage temperature is 10-30 °C.
